General

01 What is a visitor visa?

A visitor visa is a temporary permission to enter a country for tourism, a holiday or to visit family and friends. It does not allow you to work or settle there, and it is issued for a limited period.

02 How early should I apply?

As early as your plans reasonably allow. Processing times vary by country and season and are published by each immigration authority. Applying with time in hand gives you room to respond to any additional requests.

03 Do I need a visa for my destination?

Most Indian passport holders need a visa in advance for Canada, Australia, the UK, New Zealand and the USA. We confirm what applies to your passport and travel purpose during your assessment.

04 Can you help me prepare my documents?

Yes. Documentation guidance is a core part of our service — we help you understand which documents may support your case and how to organise and present them clearly.

05 Can you review an application I have already prepared?

Yes. We review applications for consistency, completeness and presentation, and point out anything that may need attention before submission.

06 Are you a government organisation?

No. Supervista Visa Consultancy is a private visa consultancy based in Karnal. We are not affiliated with any government or immigration authority, and we do not decide visa applications.

02

Canada

01 What documents are commonly required?

Typically identity, financial, employment or business, travel and travel-history documents. Canada's online system also generates a personalised checklist for your specific application — that is the list to follow.

02 Is biometrics required?

Most applicants are asked to provide biometrics at a designated collection point, but this depends on your circumstances and the current rules. We confirm it for your case.

03 Does travel history help?

Previous compliant travel can be helpful context for an officer, but it is neither required nor a guarantee. Many first-time travellers apply successfully.

03

Australia

01 What is subclass 600?

Subclass 600 is Australia's Visitor visa. The Tourist Stream is normally used for holidays and family visits from India.

02 What evidence shows a genuine temporary stay?

A clear purpose, realistic dates, funds appropriate to the trip, and commitments in India such as employment, business, study or family responsibilities.

03 Do documents need translation?

Documents not in English are generally expected to be accompanied by an appropriate English translation, in line with current Australian requirements.

04

United Kingdom

01 What is a Standard Visitor visa?

It is the UK route covering tourism, visiting family and friends, permitted business activities and certain short courses.

02 How do I demonstrate my intention to return?

Through your commitments in India — work or business, family, study or property — combined with realistic, time-bound travel plans and consistent application answers.

03 What financial documents may be useful?

Usually recent bank statements, income evidence, and clear evidence of who is funding the trip. What is appropriate depends on your circumstances.

05

New Zealand

01 What financial evidence is useful?

Evidence that you can fund your stay — commonly recent bank statements, and often prepaid accommodation or a sponsor undertaking where one applies.

02 What proves I can leave New Zealand?

Usually a return or onward ticket, or funds to buy one, alongside your ties and commitments at home.

03 When are medical or police certificates required?

It depends on factors such as your length of stay and personal circumstances. Immigration New Zealand will advise if they are needed.

06

USA

01 What is B1/B2?

B-1 covers permitted business visitor activities and B-2 covers tourism, family visits and medical treatment. They are often issued together.

02 What is the DS-160?

The online non-immigrant visa application form. Its answers form the basis of your application and must be accurate and consistent with your documents.

03 What happens during the interview?

A short conversation with a consular officer about your purpose of travel, funding and ties at home. Truthful, clear and consistent answers matter most.

04 What supporting evidence should I prepare?

Typically employment or business evidence, financial documents, travel plans, travel history and relationship evidence where you are visiting family.

Visa requirements, eligibility criteria, fees and processing procedures can change and vary by applicant. Answers here are general information — not legal advice or a guarantee of approval. Please verify current requirements with the relevant immigration authority before applying.
