Tourist Visa Assessment: What It Actually Checks Before You Apply
Most tourist visa applicants find out what an officer was checking only after a refusal. An assessment tool runs the same checks first, while you can still fix them.

"Am I ready to apply?" is the question every tourist visa applicant asks and almost never gets a straight answer to, until a refusal letter answers it for them, after the fact. A tourist visa assessment tool exists to move that answer earlier, while it can still change the outcome.
What the tool checks
Our Visa Profile Assessment scores eight categories that mirror the published decision framework officers actually apply, not a made-up scorecard:
- Purpose of travel: does your stated reason match your itinerary and dates
- Financial capacity and provenance: is the money genuinely yours, and does it match your income
- Ties to home: employment, business, family and property that give you a reason to return
- Travel and immigration history: previous visas, refusals and compliance
- Documentation completeness: what's missing for your specific country and profile
- Internal consistency: do your answers, dates and figures agree with each other
- Country-specific risk indicators: the patterns each destination's officers are known to weigh most heavily
- Admissibility basics: anything that would need addressing before the rest matters
What it cannot do
It cannot read your actual bank statement, passport stamps or employer letter; it works from what you tell it. It also does not, and will not, give you a percentage chance of approval: no software can honestly claim that, and any tool that does is overstating what it knows.
How to use the result
- 1 Read the red flags first: these are the things most likely to trigger a genuine concern.
- 2 Work through the improvement plan in priority order, not all at once.
- 3 Use the personalised document checklist as your packing list, not a general one found online.
- 4 Re-run the assessment after you've fixed something, to see the score move.
Common questions
What does the tourist visa assessment cover?
All eight category scores, every red flag and the full improvement plan are included in one report. Nothing is a locked preview.
Does it work for all five countries?
Yes, it covers Canada, the USA, the UK, Australia and New Zealand, with country-specific weighting and thresholds for each.
Is my information stored anywhere?
No. It runs in your browser and nothing is uploaded, unless you choose to share your result with us over WhatsApp.
What if my result comes back weak?
That is the point of doing this before you apply, not after. The improvement plan tells you exactly what to fix first.
Try the tourist visa assessment before you start your application. It takes about six minutes.
